Kamala Harris Appeals to Vegas Voters ahead of Elections

The presidential race continues to rage on as the election draws near. As the political campaigns continue, Vice President Kamala Harris promised the people of Nevada that she would prioritize the needs of the middle and working classes.

At the Expo at the World Market Center in Las Vegas, Harris has once again appealed to local voters, promising that, unlike her competitor, Donald Trump, she knows how to address the needs of the US citizens.

Harris said that she feels good to be back in Nevada and added that she is prepared for a tight race against Trump. As mentioned, the VP believes that her rival has the “same old tired playbook” and no actual plan on how to address the needs of the people.

Harris said that she and her voters are the underdogs. However, she added that they are also hard workers who would win in November.

Harris Vows to Protect the Interests of the Middle and Working Classes

Harris drew a number of comparisons to Donald Trump, highlighting the contrast between her desire to put the middle and working classes first and his promises to cater to corporations and rich people. Whereas the Republican candidate promised tax cuts to influential businesses and billionaires, Harris reiterated her desire to support the common folk.

Harris’ promises include lowering the cost of living, ensuring US citizens’ reproductive freedom and supporting smaller businesses. These intentions were reflected in her promises to introduce a tax deduction for smaller businesses, building millions of new homes and providing first-time home buyers with financial assistance and providing more tax credits to households with young children.

In the meantime, Harris vowed to take action against illegal migration and drug trade and support sensible gun safety laws.

The Race in Nevada Is Going to Be Tight

Las Vegas and Nevada as a whole represent an important electorate for both Trump and Harris. Both candidates have been trying hard to appeal to local citizens and have even made promises to eliminate taxes on tips.

Trump has likewise been able to find supporters in Las Vegas and has a stable footing in the state of Nevada.
