Harris Surpasses Trump’s Betting Odds Following Debate
While some doubted her capabilities, Harris proved the naysayers wrong, exceeding Trump’s betting odds in the wake of the recent debate

As the presidential election draws near, the debates and betting continue to grow in intensity. In what some considered a surprising turn of events, US Vice President Kamala Harris excelled at the latest TV debate, causing her betting odds to shoot past ex-POTUS Donald Trump’s.
Even Musk Was Impressed
Harris found herself as the Democratic Nominee for the elections after Joe Biden’s decision to step down from the political race. While some doubted her capabilities, Harris proved the naysayers wrong, exceeding Trump’s betting odds in the wake of the recent debate.
According to election betting companies, Harris’ chance to win the elections has exceeded 50%, while Trump’s odds have plummeted below this number.
Bettors’ trust in Harris was attributed to her strong performance at the recent TV debate where she accused Trump of undermining America’s global image.
Despite trusting Trump to be better at “getting things done,” even Elon Musk admitted that Harris performed better at the debate. The tech mogul praised Harris for doing an exceptional job but was overall disappointed that none of the candidates commented on pressing matters, such as the US debt crisis.
While I don’t think the debate hosts were fair to @realDonaldTrump, @KamalaHarris exceeded most people’s expectations tonight.

That said, when it comes to getting things done, not just saying nice-sounding words, I strongly believe that Trump will do a far better job.

Trump Was Under Fire But Some Feel the Hosts Were Biased
For context, the debate saw Harris accuse Trump of ruining the United States’ image. As someone who has traveled the world as Vice President, Harris claimed that world leaders were “laughing” at Trump. She further baited the former president by saying that military leaders, including ones Trump had previously worked with, thought he was a “disgrace.”
Harris further baited Trump during the debate and went as far as claiming that 81 million people had decided to “fire him” in 2020 when they chose Biden over him.
While many people agreed that Harris handled the debate very well, others scrutinized the hosts’ treatment of the two candidates, saying that they were not fair to Trump. Musk echoed this opinion and highlighted that the hosts fact-checked Trump multiple times but were reluctant to do so for Harris.
In any case, Trump’s betting odds aren’t the only thing that slumped. According to a Reuters report, Trump Media & Technology Group, in which the former president holds more than a 50% stake, has seen its shares plummet since July when Harris replaced Biden.
