NetEnt Readies to Roll out with BetMGM in West Virginia

Following a successful launch in August, BetMGM, the online gaming brand owned by ROAR Digital, has struck a new partnership with NetEnt. As per the partnership, BetMGM will feature NetEnt products in its portfolio.

NetEnt to Enhance BetMGM Experience in West Virginia

NetEnt is set to roll out its content portfolio in West Virginia in a groundbreaking partnership between the casino vendor and BetMGM.

Owned by MGM Resorts and GVC Holdings, BetMGM is one of the fastest growing iGaming and sports betting brands in the United States.

Now, the company will feature products by NetEnt’s online cabinet of games, including slots, table and live games. The move will enhance the experience for West Virginia players who have been able to access BetMGM since August.

Commenting on the partnership between the companies, NetEnt VP of Commercial for the Americas, Brian Kraft, had this to say:

“BetMGM’s rapid success in the US has been impressive and shows no signs of slowing down, making this a significant deal for our company as we continue to expand across the country.”

He further noted that NetEnt has enjoyed a good reception of its product across the expanding US market.

The country has proven an important market for the game developer which restructured some of its operations in 2018 to focus more wholesomely on the development of casino games.

NetEnt Presence in the US Solidifies

The present deal extends a partnership between NetEnt and BetMGM that is already in place in New Jersey. Matthew Sunderland, BetMGM’s VP of Gaming, said that the content partnership in the Garden State has been a “great success.” He further paid compliments to NetEnt’s operations, having this to add:

“Their team really understand[s] what appeals to gaming customers and I am positive this will serve as a major advantage as we strengthen our existing casino offering in West Virginia.”

Meanwhile, NetEnt’s footprint in the US market has grown exponentially. Tipico, a European provider of sports betting and casino games, teamed up with NetEnt ahead of the company’s entry in the New Jersey market in July.

Operations in the United States have expanded significantly in Q2, 2020 thanks to the company’s footprint in the Garden State. According to the company’s official coverage of the period, GGR has increased by 148% year-over-year (YOY). Pennsylvania marked a 100% growth YOY and the United States accounts for 10% of the total group GGR. Now that NetEnt is represented on the West Virginia market, H2 should see an entry into Michigan as per the company’s previous plan.
