NASCAR and Sportradar Extend Collaboration, Enriching Betting Opportunities
The collaboration, which now encompasses official betting data, is poised to revolutionize the way fans engage with the sport and wager on its outcomes

The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) and Sportradar have officially announced a substantial four-year extension to their existing media data rights partnership.
NASCAR and Sportradar Expand Partnership to Betting Data Rights
Sportradar, a prominent player in the sports technology domain, will not only furnish live timing and scoring data to NASCAR’s digital media affiliates but will also contribute to the burgeoning betting ecosystem around the sport. This extension, a testament to the two organizations’ strong partnership since 2015, will span across NASCAR’s three national series – the NASCAR Cup Series™, NASCAR Xfinity Series™, and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series™ – encapsulating a total of 97 races annually.
NASCAR‘s incursion into the world of legal sports gambling commenced in September 2020 when it became the pioneering league to collaborate with the American Gaming Association (AGA). This trailblazing step propelled the surge in sports betting on NASCAR, with betting operators witnessing an impressive 51.5% surge in wagers in 2022 compared to the previous year. Among NASCAR’s authorized gaming operators are key industry players like BetMGM, FanDuel, and Penn Entertainment.
Sportradar Alliance Elevates Betting and Fan Engagement
The alliance with Sportradar is pivotal to NASCAR’s strategic blueprint for sports betting, from guaranteeing the authenticity of their product to expeditiously providing authorized gaming operators and media affiliates with precise, dependable data.
Joe Solosky, NASCAR managing director of sports betting, iterated:
Adding official betting data to the partnership will continue to catalyze NASCAR’s rapid growth in the sports betting space and allow fans to further engage with the sport.
Joe Solosky, MD of sports betting, NASCAR
Eric Conrad, EVP of strategic partnerships & content at Sportradar, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that their position as a premier technology firm in the sports sector enables them to magnify the commercial prospects for NASCAR. The expanded partnership aligns with Sportradar’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the integrity of sporting events while enhancing the overall experience for fans and bettors alike.
This revelation comes hot on the heels of other noteworthy collaborations in the betting domain. Last week, NASCAR forged a new alliance with FanDuel as an Authorized Gaming Operator, alongside partnering with nVenue to augment betting-related content for its fan base. The ambitious initiative propels NASCAR’s steadfast dedication to merging the thrill of racing with the excitement of betting.
As the NASCAR season enters the climactic phase with the Chase for the Cup, the series of strategic alliances, including the extended Sportradar partnership, is set to define a new era for the sport, enticing fans and bettors into an immersive and interactive experience that transcends the racetrack.
