Black Cow Lands Critical Series A Funding from JJK Partners
Black Cow Technology has announced the successful completion of a significant Series A funding round with support from JJK Partners
Black Cow Technology, a market-leading game server technology provider including Remote Gaming Server (RGS) software, jackpot server, and multiplayer server (The Open Gaming Architecture) has closed an important Series A funding round with help from JJK Partners.
Big Step Forward
While the funding amount remains undisclosed, the investment represents a significant milestone for the company, helping it put even more focus on advancing multiplayer gaming technology for online casinos by further developing its Multiplayer Server technology suite.
The latter is a key component of its strategy to redefine interactive gaming experiences.
Additionally, BlackCow will keep enhancing its offerings in single-player RGS solutions and modular progressive jackpots, solidifying its leadership in the iGaming sector.
First Slot and Multiplayer Table Games to Be Released by Q2
Black Cow plans to roll out the first wave of slots and multiplayer table games built on its upgraded platform by the second quarter of 2025.
These multiplayer games will introduce small groups of players to shared experiences, with communal bonus modes where winnings are distributed among participants.
This innovative approach fosters camaraderie and aligns with the preferences of Millennial and Gen Z players, who value social interaction and real-time engagement.
“Multiplayer Gaming Is a Genre Poised for Explosive Growth”
Black Cow’s chief executive officer, Max Francis, highlighted the importance of the fresh investment, calling it a “transformative moment” for the company.
Francis also mentioned Black Cow’s ”humble beginnings” in 2014 when they were only able to raise “£800,000 from friends and family” and expressed their current desire to “scale like never before.”
“Multiplayer gaming is a genre poised for explosive growth, and JJK shares our vision for its incredible potential. Together, we’re committed to leading this exciting frontier,” the CEO added.
Black Cow’s history of innovation underscores its ability to push boundaries. Its Multiplayer RGS solution, introduced last year, revolutionized multiplayer game creation, enabling developers to design event-driven games with real-time interaction.
This flexibility allows operators to craft unique experiences tailored to their audiences, setting Black Cow apart as a pioneer in the iGaming landscape.
Jeff Millar, the founding father of the Las Vegas, Nevada-headquartered firm that reunites capital providers with companies looking to expand in the regulated online gaming market in the US and Canada, expressed confidence in the partnership.
“I’ve known the Black Cow team since their inception a decade ago and have always been impressed by their technological prowess and innovative spirit,” Miller said.
Evolution Gaming’s former chief commercial officer for North America between 2020-2023 who was also part of IGT’s team for 14 years as commercial director for PlayDigital North and senior manager of corporate strategy added the funding will “empower them to become the leading provider of Multiplayer gaming solutions.”
As Black Cow continues to scale its operations, it is actively collaborating with developers and operators eager to explore the untapped potential of multiplayer gaming.
With this funding and a bold vision, the company is set to change the face of online gaming experiences.
