Playtika Teams Up with IGT to Elevate Social Casino Gaming
This new collaboration aligns with Playtika’s expansion-focused mindset and leverages the company’s recent high-profile acquisition of mobile game developer SuperPlay
Playtika Holding Corp., recognized as a global leader in mobile gaming and interactive entertainment, has announced a noteworthy new partnership with gaming industry powerhouse IGT. This strategic collaboration seeks to integrate IGT’s globally acclaimed slot titles into Playtika’s social casino offerings, enriching the gaming experience for millions of players worldwide.
A Match Made in Gaming Heaven
The partnership will commence this month and extend through 2025, introducing IGT’s acclaimed slot titles into Playtika’s flagship social casino platforms: Slotomania, Caesars Slots, and House of Fun. The iconic Cleopatra II marks the first such release and will debut in Slotomania on 26 December 2024, with additional top-performing IGT games to follow.
Playtika’s executive general manager of Slots Central and Slotomania, Amnon Calev, was excited about this new mutually beneficial collaboration. He lauded IGT’s ability to deliver exceptional gaming experiences and was excited to see them added to Playtika’s growing portfolio. This new acclaimed content should bolster customer engagement and secure the company’s foothold in key jurisdictions.
As leaders in the social casino industry, it was only natural for us to collaborate with the creators of some of the most iconic games in the gaming industry and bring the best content into our social casino game.

This collaboration comes on the heels of Playtika’s ambitious acquisition strategy. In September, the company disclosed a $700 million agreement to acquire SuperPlay, the developer of popular mobile games such as Domino Dreams and Dice Dreams. This deal could exceed $1 billion, further reinforcing Playtika’s status as a leader in the gaming industry.
Both Companies Share Many Common Values
For IGT, the partnership represents an opportunity to grow its digital footprint. Known for its cutting-edge gaming machines and digital solutions, IGT now brings its popular titles to a broader market. Nick Khin, president of global gaming at IGT, was confident that the collaboration with Playtika would deliver an unparalleled gaming experience to customers.
“By partnering with Playtika, IGT can extend the reach of its player-favorite games portfolio and offer popular titles in a free-to-play format via Playtika’s iconic social casino games.”
Nick Khin, IGT president of global gaming
Playtika’s games, available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play, offer a Vegas-style slots experience for entertainment purposes only, with no real-money prizes. The release of Cleopatra II will be supported by a broad multi-platform marketing campaign, which will help create anticipation for future IGT releases on Caesars Slots and House of Fun.
As Playtika integrates IGT’s iconic content and SuperPlay’s expertise, the company is well-positioned for substantial growth, redefining the boundaries of social casino gaming and reaffirming its commitment to excellence through innovation and collaboration. Players can look forward to an exciting year ahead, packed with engaging titles and memorable gaming experiences.
