Bally’s and Palms Casino Expand Loyalty Rewards in New Partnership
The partnership will focus on travel getaways for Bally Rewards members, offering exclusive perks such as tier matching, tournament invitations, and annual trips

Bally’s Corporation and Palms Casino Resort have joined forces giving Bally Rewards members new ways to earn and use points at the Palms, a famous casino away from the Strip in Las Vegas. This team-up comes at a key time for Bally’s, which just closed its old Tropicana property showing a change in how the company operates in Las Vegas.
Bally’s Loses Tropicana but Gains New Opportunities with Palms Casino
The Tropicana, a hotel-casino from the Rat Pack era, shut its doors on April 2, 2024. Bally’s plans to tear it down in October to build a new Major League Baseball stadium. When the Tropicana closed, Bally’s had no casino in Las Vegas for the first time in many years. But this new deal with the Palms means Bally Rewards members can still enjoy the excitement of Las Vegas.
This team-up lets Bally Rewards members earn and use loyalty points at the Palms Casino Resort. It gives them another option in Las Vegas after the Tropicana shut down. The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians has owned the Palms since 2021. People already know it for its one-of-a-kind features and strong hospitality. By joining forces, both brands want to make the gaming experience better for Bally’s customers.
Mike Donovan, Bally’s chief marketing officer and senior vice president of gaming, showed enthusiasm about the collaboration. He pointed out that the partnership fits with the company’s aim to give outstanding rewards and experiences to its loyal members. Donovan stressed that this step is part of Bally’s larger plan to keep providing top-notch experiences to its customers even as the company moves away from its usual Las Vegas presence.
Bally Rewards Members to Enjoy Travel Getaways and Exclusive Perks
To start, the partnership will center on travel getaways for Bally Rewards members. They will enjoy special perks like tier matching, invitations to tournaments, and yearly trips. These benefits should appeal to both experienced players and newcomers, as Bally’s tries to keep its place in the tough Las Vegas market. It has been also indicated that the partnership might grow in the future bringing Bally’s and the Palms’ offerings closer together.
Greg Shulman, vice president of casino marketing at the Palms, was just as excited pointing out the chance to show Bally Rewards members what makes the Palms’ hospitality special. He also mentioned that working together lets both companies check out new possibilities in the gaming world paving the way for potential future projects that could be good for both brands.
