ALT Sports Data to Offer Regulated X Games Wagering Products
X Games fans will be able to place wagers on their favorite athletes for the first time in 30 years
ALT Sports Data, a provider of trading and consumer data for alternative leagues and emerging sports, has unveiled a major partnership with X Games, the ESPN-founded action sports event series. The tie-up will allow ALT Sports Data to offer sports betting options for X Games tentpole events.
X Games Joins ALT Sports Data
This landmark partnership would mark the first time X Games fans can place regulated wagers on their preferred events and athletes. This will bring fans closer to the action, allowing them to plunge into the world of action sports.
The agreement will provide ALT Sports Data with exclusive access to official X Games data, allowing it to offer a variety of traditional and prop wagers. The launch of these new products is expected to redefine the way in which fans interact with X Games’ competitions.
X Games was founded by ESPN in 1994 and sold to MSP Sports Capital in 2022. The series feature a variety of action sports, such as skateboarding, BMX, freestyle motocross, skiing and snowboarding. The series recently experienced a spike in popularity, with X Games recording a staggering 113% growth in streaming audiences in the past year alone. The last 12 months also saw X Games attract 2.4 million followers on social media, further highlighting the growing popularity of the series.
Bringing Fans Closer to the Action
AML Sports Data’s co-founder, Todd Ballard, was excited about the partnership. He explained that it exemplified his team’s mission to redefine how fans engage with some of the world’s most thrilling sports.

X Games Plans Further Growth
For context, X Games Aspen, a snowboarding and skiing event, is set to take place from January 23 to January 25 in Aspen, Colorado.
Then, in 2026, X Games plans to introduce an “innovative global, team-based format and additional events around the globe.”
In other news, The SuperMotocross League also signed a deal with ALT Sports Data to offer sports betting products in states where the activity is legal.
