2025 Club World Cup Odds Favor PSG
PSG is the team that won the Champions League only a month ago, which, by default, makes the French team one of the top favorites to win the 2025 Club World Cup. So far, they’ve been meeting the expectations – they won Group B with a 2-0-1 (W-D-L) record.
The Parisians destroyed Atletico Madrid 4:0 in the first round but then shocked the fans – and bookmakers – by losing 1:0 to Botafogo RJ. Then, in the final round of the group stage, they beat the Seattle Sounders somewhat routinely, 2:0.

This team’s biggest strength is team spirit. In the past, this team had superstars like Lionel Messi on the roster, but in 2025, they have a roster in which almost every player can shine at any given moment.
Still, there are a couple of PSG players who’ve been in better form than the rest – Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Vitinha, Desire Doue, etc.
Can Lionel Messi Lead Inter Miami to Glory?
Lionel Messi is the soccer GOAT; there’s no arguing about that. But the fact is that he’s approaching the twilight of his career. Although he still has the skills, he’s 39 already, so you can’t expect him to go to war with PSG’s youngsters.
The problem is that most of Inter Miami’s key men are in their late 30s as well. Luis Suarez and Oscar Ustari are 38, while Sergio Busquets is two years younger.

They might be past their prime, but they’ve been playing well since the start of the 2025 CWC. They finished second in the group with a 1:2-0 record. They played draws with Al Ahly (0:0) and Palmeiras (2:2), while their only win so far happened against FC Porto (2:1).
The reason why the game with Porto is important is that Inter Miami were huge underdogs in that game. In fact, their CWC odds ahead of the match were +320 at some sportsbooks.
PSG vs. Inter Miami Prediction
Inter Miami managed to upset the odds against FC Porto; can they do the same against PSG? The short answer is: NO. The winners of the 2025 UCL are levels above them in terms of player quality.
Sure, Lionel Messi is the GOAT of the sport, but at the age of 39, he just can’t do much against PSG’s stars who are in their prime. He can’t lead Inter Miami to victory, but he can help the Herons score a goal or two. Unfortunately for them, that won’t be enough.
Pick: PSG & Over 2.5 Goals
