Sportsbet.io Enters Master Sponsorships Deal with Sao Paulo FC

As it continues to expand globally, cryptocurrency betting operator Sportsbet.io has signed a new master partnership with Brazilian soccer club Sao Paulo.

Sportsbet.io Deepens Brazilian Ties with Sao Paulo

Sportsbet.io, arguably the world’s most significant crypto sports betting operator, has struck a new pivotal partnership with Brazilian soccer club Sao Paulo. The “master sponsorship” will extend for a period of four years through 2024.

Club marketing executive director Eduardo Toni said that the team was pleased to embark on this journey with Sportsbet.io, a company that he argued was a reputed name on the international soccer scene.

“This agreement symbolizes our constant efforts since the inauguration of this administration to strengthen our brand. Even under some doubt about the path to irreversible specialization,” Toni continued.

Sportsbet.io’s logo is already emblazoned on players’ shirts and the back of their jerseys right above the player number. That should give the sports betting operator another boost in the burgeoning Brazilian gambling market. With Brazil’s sports betting industry subject to final approval, more operators are looking to establish their name and boost brand awareness.

Brazil a Focal Point of Sportsbet.io’s Growth

Sportsbet.io marketing director Justin Le Brocque responded with similar enthusiasm, arguing that Sao Paulo is an established soccer powerhouse known the world over and therefore a significant boost for Sportsbet.io’s operations in the country and beyond.

“Building partnerships with institutions of this size and representativeness represents a major step for Sportsbet.io, especially with the clear goal of always providing the best to our customers, especially in Brazil,” Le Brocque continued. Both sides stand to benefit from this partnership, and not least, the club’s fans.

Sportsbet.io has been positioning itself to break on the Brazilian market. Just last month, the company signed a partnership with Pay4Fun, a local payment processor that allows players to benefit from more tailored banking options. It currently has an active partnership with Flamengo, another Brazilian soccer club, as well as Arsenal FC and Southampton FC in Europe’s Premier League.

Previously, the Coingaming Group-owned sportsbook teamed up with SportCaller for two new free-to-play games in a bid to boost engagement and retention. Sportsbet.io has been working with numerous sports franchises over the years.
