Man Said to Have Used Massage Gun to Steal from Casino Appeared in Court
Over five visits, he used the massager to acquire an unspecified sum in coins, according to reports
A man with the initials D.H. has appeared in court after allegedly using a massage gun to steal from a casino in Washington. He was released from custody but prohibited from entering venues with slot machines.
The Man “Stimulated” the Machine to Make Coins Fall
Casino crime is nothing new as criminals have long recognized the money to be had if their hits are successful. Some have resorted to cheating, others to threats of violence and assaults in casinos’ parking lots.
One man from Washington, however, found a different way to defraud a local gambling property. The 51-year-old is said to have used a massage gun to score some illicit winnings at the Northern Quest Casino in Airway Heights.
Instead of using the massage gun to scare employees, as one might expect, the man surreptitiously “massaged” a vintage slot machine that still used coins. D.H. reportedly shook the coin platform to cause coins to fall into the payout chute. Over five visits, he used the massager to acquire an unspecified sum in coins.
Court documents show that D.H. admitted to his crimes. He was released on his own recognizance but was banned from visiting gambling properties and other locations featuring gambling machines.
Other Recent Casino-Related Crimes in America
In the meantime, a man from Denver was just found guilty of operating an illegal gambling venue. The property was disguised as an arcade but actually used a complex scheme involving cryptocurrencies to allow visitors to gamble.
The property was part of a larger chain of illegal gambling properties across Colorado. The man behind the Denver establishment is set to be sentenced in December.
In other crime-related news, a 20-year-old teacher assistant in Las Vegas was accused of having a romantic relationship with an underage boy, likely in his teens. The two would meet at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall and cuddle, according to reports.
Elsewhere, a Shreveport Casino visitor was arrested for indecent exposure at the property. While he tried to flee, he was soon apprehended by the police. The man now faces possible fines, probation, community service, or even imprisonment.
