INTRALOT and Camelot Introduce Fast Play to Illinois State Lottery
Greek-based gaming leader INTRALOT Integrated Lottery Systems and Services has announced that its US subsidiary INTRALOT, along with its partner Camelot Illinois, has successfully introduced new Fast Play games to the Illinois State Lottery. The contract with Camelot Illinois for the management of the Illinois State Lottery was signed in 2018.
INTRALOT provides the necessary technology to the State Lottery, managed by Camelot Illinois. “[it is] creating added value to the Illinois Lottery and contributing to their education funding for the State of Illinois.”, the CEO of INTRALOT Group, Mr. Christos Dimitriadis, said.
Since 1985, lottery players have helped generate over $21 billion to Illinois’ Common School Fund to assist K-12 public schools and charity.
Instant Easy Win for Players
Fast Play games are quick and easy draw games that allow players to participate without filling or scratching cards, picking numbers, or wait for results. Illinois residents over 18 can buy Fast Play games through Illinois Lottery terminals or vending machines throughout the Illinois Ground Point of Sale network, where lottery games are sold.
“Fast Play is an exciting, new way to play the Lottery and the first new game launch in eight years,” said Illinois Lottery Acting Director Harold Mays. “With Fast Play games, our players will know immediately if they’ve won a prize,” he added, “This innovative game has been successful in other states and we anticipate Illinois players will really enjoy the new way to play.”
Progressive Jackpots and Always-Available Prizes
Blackjack ($5) and Illinois Jackpot ($10) offer growing jackpots starting at $10,000 and $20,000, respectively, which increase every time a ticket is sold state-wide. The jackpots are updated every two minutes.
Piggy Bank Bucks ($1) and Hot Dice ($5) offer always-available prizes and give players the chance to win a set prize of $5,000 and $10,000, respectively.
Players will be able to check if they’ve won by scanning their tickets with the Lottery’s mobile app or using a ticket scanner in stores.
Mr. Byron Boothe, CEO of INTRALOT Inc. said that the INTRALOT and Camelot teams “will continue to expand the range of games offered to Illinois players.”
