FanDuel and PGA Tour Strike Three-Year Extension of Partnership Deal

Leading sports betting operator FanDuel and PGA Tour have agreed to extend their partnership with another three-year contract that will run through 2024 and focus on marketing and content opportunities in the United States.

FanDuel Remains as Leading Betting Partner for PGA Tour

The partnership has extended FanDuel’s role as the official betting operator of the leading golf organization for the new contract duration. The two companies will work on various odds-driven content that can be delivered to fans with added value.

This will happen mostly through social media, which has proven the most cost-effective way of delivering content and engaging with fans. PGA Tour will distribute this tailored content through its Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram channels. PGA Tour SVP of media and gaming Norb Gambuzza welcomed the extension:

FanDuel is a market leader in the United States and we look forward to extending our relationship in the sports betting space for three more years.”

FanDuel has been able to amass an impressive growth in its golf products which has reflected positively on both partners. To bolster its presence in the segment, the betting agency teamed up with Jordan Spieth.

“Integrating FanDuel’s odds into our social content provides relevant storylines and up-to-date betting information for fans who want to get involved in sports betting in our sport,” Gambuzza concluded.

FanDuel and PGA Tour Achieve Engagement with Golf Fans

FanDuel will retain exclusive rights to use various PGA Tour IPs and advertise across the Tour media platforms and partners. FanDuel Group CMO Mike Raffensperger welcomed the opportunity and said that the company was excited to be building upon its relationship with the PGA Tour.

Raffensperger praised the Tour’s willingness and commitment to offer exclusive products to FanDuel in a bid to bring new real-time highlights available through the FanDuel app and, by extension, to golf fans who are ready to engage. The PGA Tour’s passionate fans are what FanDuel is after, Raffensperger concluded.

Meanwhile, the PGA Tour is expanding its reach across multiple sports betting operators. BetMGM is another company that has an official betting partnership with the PGA Tour, and the deal is a similar arrangement that was renewed recently for a period of three years.
