Next-Gen Console Release Comes with New Skins for Fortnite

The Last Laugh bundle comes to Fortnite on November 17. Epic Games revealed that the bundle will be playable for Play Station 5 and the next-generation console Xbox Series X.

Friday, August 15, Epic Games made an exciting announcement with new skins coming to Fortnite. The super-villains of DC will come to Fortnite on November 17. According to Epic’s announcement “the bundle with the new skins will arrive in time for the release of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X next-generation consoles.” What is known so far about the new Xbox Series X is that the new generation console will be revealed in November, but given Epic’s most recent statement we may see Xbox Series X in the first days of the month.

In order to bring the new skins, Epic Games partnered up with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC. The new bundle which will be released in November is named The Last Laugh. It will be available for both digital and retail purchase. The Last Laugh bundle will cost $29.99 (£24.99) and will contain three new skins:

• The Joker
• Poison Ivy
• Midas Rex

Players that purchase the bundle will receive the Laugh Riot Back Bling, Back Bloom Back Bling, and Midas Crest Back Bling. What is also included in the bundle are the Joker’s Pickaxe, the Bad Joke Pickaxe, the Ivy Axe Pickaxe and the Kingmaker Pickaxe. Last but not least, players who purchase the bundle will receive Pick a Card Contrail as well as 1000 V-Bucks.

Here it is important to mention that the Last Laugh bundle will be released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Users on PC or mobile platforms are “covered” said Epic Games, vowing to share more details when the bundle will be available for those platforms soon.

Leak: Will Wolverine Also Arrive to Fortnite?

Besides the announcement by Epic Games for new skins, a leak suggests more superheroes coming to Fortnite. While the Avengers by Marvel have already landed in Fortnite, is X-Men next in line? The user named HYPEX tweeted a possible leak that Epic Games may plan to introduce a Wolverine skin as well as Wolverine Claws pickaxe.

HYPEX who in the past has proven to be trustworthy when it comes to leaks about Fortnite based this claim on a “very trusted source”. The game’s Chapter 2 Season 4 start date is expected to be on August 27. With that in mind, according to the leak the character may be the secret skin in Season 4 of Fortnite.

Back in July, HYPEX tweeted another message teasing over the rumor of Wolverine arriving to the game. Despite that Epic Games revealed a new bundle – the Last Laugh, currently no official statement confirms the arrival of Wolverine to Fortnite.
