DraftKings Becomes WNBA’s Official Sports Betting and DF Partner
DraftKings will now be able to leverage official WNBA data feeds to fuel the sports betting experience it offers to fans
Sports entertainment giant DraftKings has unveiled a major partnership agreement with the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). Per the deal, the operator will serve as the league’s official sports betting and daily fantasy partner.
According to the official announcement, the deal will provide DraftKings with rights to WNBA league and collective team intellectual property, allowing it to produce branded products. In addition, the sports betting giant will get access to marketing, activation and hospitality opportunities for tentpole league events, like the AT&T WNBA All-Star Game.
Furthermore, DraftKings will now be able to leverage official WNBA data feeds to fuel the sports betting experience it offers to fans.
In the meantime, the WNBA will extensively promote DraftKings’ brand across its digital and linear platforms. The renowned operator will also serve as presenting partner of the WNBA Postseason Push – a new WNBA content platform that features league highlights, social integrations, and odds updates.
DraftKings reiterated its commitment to promoting sports betting in a responsible way, which is in line with its social responsibility strategy. The company noted that its partnership with the WNBA will champion responsible gaming best practices, considering that both parties are active members of the American Gaming Association and supporters of its Have A Game Plan. Bet Responsibly campaign.
DraftKings’ partnership with the WNBA reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting professional sports. The operator has also served as an official partner of the NBA since 2021.
Representatives Are Excited about the Tie-Up
Matt Kalish, DraftKings’ president for North America, commented on the matter, praising the WNBA’s tremendous growth over the past few years. He lauded the league as a “bright spot in the sports world,” adding that he is proud to support its efforts to expand the game.
