BlueBet Selects Tony Thomas for Chief Marketing Officer
The Australian betting operator, BlueBet Holdings, has announced a senior-level appointment. The company selected industry veteran Tony Thomas to serve as its new chief marketing officer (CMO) for Australia.
Tony Thomas Joins BlueBet as CMO
Overall, Thomas has more than 20 years of experience within multiple industries. He is a seasoned veteran in the marketing, gaming, entertainment as well as retail and food and beverage industries. In his new position with BlueBet, Thomas is expected to boost the company’s growth and oversee strategic marketing processes and strategies.
Bill Richmond, BlueBet’s CEO, acknowledged that the company is excited to have Thomas join its leadership team and bring his industry experience. Moreover, Richmond pointed out that as CMO, Thomas will help fuel the growth of the company. BlueBet’s CEO pointed out that Thomas was behind some of the most famous marketing campaigns in the last two decades. The unique experience and knowledge of the industry that he brings will undoubtedly help BlueBet, Richmond predicted.

According to Richmond, BlueBet stands out as a challenger brand, which positions it perfectly for the growing market in Australia. He outlined that Thomas’ appointment will “make a real impact” on BlueBet’s business. Finally, Richmond said: “As BlueBet continues to grow, we are very confident Tony will add to the strength of our great team.”
Thomas Is Excited to Help the Company Grow
Before joining BlueBet, Thomas was a part of Nova Entertainment for nine years. During his tenure at Nova Entertainment, he held the position of chief marketing and digital officer and was in charge of strategic processes related to branding and marketing.
Aside from Nova, Thomas was also a part of Pepsico International where he served as marketing director. His professional background also includes a senior-level position with Coles where he served as head of media and advertising.
