BetPlay, a prominent sponsor in Colombian soccer competitions, is extending its presence on the local sports scene by a multi-year partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA) to become its Official Betting Partner in Colombia.
Strengthening Grip on Basketball
Market-leading multi-channel sports betting brand BetPlay, operated by Colombian gambling group Corredor Empresarial, continued to strengthen brand awareness, entering an exclusive partnership with the NBA to offer Colombian fans of basketball unique gaming experiences, promotions, products, and content from the league.

The collaboration between BetPlay and the NBA will feature both across the sports betting brand’s retail and online offering, as well as the NBA’s digital and social media platforms, with localized content on the league’s Facebook pages and BetPLay odds presented on the league’s website, NBA.com, and official app, the NBA App.

Prediction and Virtual Video Games
Under the multi-year partnership deal, BetPlay will also serve as the presenting partner of one of the NBA’s free-to-play prediction games, NBA Pick’Em: Bracket Challenge, for a localized version of the game, while the partners will collaborate to promote responsible wagering and best-in-class practices to protect the integrity of the NBA.
BetPlay acquired access to official betting data, statistics, and branding of the professional basketball league to use on its platform in Colombia. The deal builds on the brand’s offering on the NBA and the virtual sports betting game ‘NBA Last 60’ that offers sports fans in the country and worldwide a taste of the excitement of NBA action through highlights of league’s past games.
The new partnership significantly expands BetPlay presence across Colombian sport. It adds to the brand’s dominance across soccer following the four-year sponsorship deal signed at the beginning of 2020 with the governing body of soccer in Colombia, DIMAYOR, that made BetPlay title sponsor for all competitions sanctioned by the organization, and namely Liga BetPlay Dimayor, Copa BetPlay Dimayor, Torneo BetPlay Dimayor and the Superliga BetPlay Dimayor.
