BetMGM Poker Innovates with Shared Liquidity Between NJ and MI

BetMGM has been working hard to improve its BetMGM Poker brand, enhancing the app and launching new promotions

BetMGM, an iGaming and online sports betting powerhouse, announced that it has begun combining player pools between its poker markets in New Jersey and Michigan. This development was lauded as a significant milestone that will greatly enhance the BetMGM Poker experience.

Improving the BetMGM Poker Experience

BetMGM has been working hard to improve its BetMGM Poker brand, enhancing the app and launching new promotions. By combining the pools in New Jersey and Michigan, the company will effectively elevate the player experience with more games and bigger guarantees.

Furthermore, BetMGM Poker will celebrate the launch of the combined player pools with the launch of its biggest tournament series to date. Running from November 17 to December 1, the BetMGM Poker Online Championship will feature $2 million in guarantees. Poker aficionados can also look forward to nightly trophy events and a series leaderboard that will allow them to see how they fare compared to their peers.

In addition to that, the launch of combined player pools in New Jersey and Michigan will bring additional omnichannel poker opportunities with MGM Resorts properties. As a result, BetMGM poker players in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania can now win entries for a number of live events, including Borgata Fall Mini-Series, National Harbor BetMGM Poker Fall Festival, ARIA Poker Open.

BetMGM Poker players can also earn BetMGM Rewards Points and Tier Credits, which can be reclaimed for a variety of bonuses, MGM Rewards Points and Marriott Bonvoy Points, further highlighting the omnichannel opportunities.  

BetMGM Changes the Game

Angus Nisbet, BetMGM’s vice president of gaming, commented on the launch of combined player pools, calling it a “landmark day” for the poker app. He added that BetMGM has heeded players’ calls for more games and larger prize pools, causing the company to launch shared liquidity. Additionally, Nisbet highlighted the omnichannel opportunities of this launch, saying that they will further improve the player experience.

Darren Elias, a four-time World Poker Tour winner and a BetMGM Poker Ambassador, also commented on the matter, praising the combined pools. According to him, this move will provide players with more games, bigger guarantees and more tournament opportunities. He concluded: “We are focused on the growth of online poker and I am so excited about the recent app upgrades, the upcoming series and the evolution of BetMGM Poker.”
