AstroPay Inks a Partnership with Sri Lanka’s Cricket Team

Global virtual payment solutions provider AstroPay has announced a partnership with the T20 cricket team of Sri Lanka. This marks AstroPay’s expansion into the world of professional cricket.

AstroPay Enters Professional Cricket

The agreement deal will see the Sri Lankan team put AstroPay’s logo on the leading arm sleeve of the athletes’ jerseys, as well as on the front of their training bib. Furthermore, the cricket team will have AstroPay’s brand represented on their official website and on all of their social media accounts.

The chief executive officer of the Sri Lanka Cricket team, Ashely De Silva, welcomed AstroPay as a partner. De Silva is absolutely confident that the partnership will be mutually beneficial. He is sure that the team’s new partner will derive excellent brand exposure thanks to the agreement, especially during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

The championship is scheduled to begin on October 17 and will last until November 14. It is set to take place in the United Arab Emirates and Oman and will meet 16 of the best teams in the world, including the Sri Lankan team.

The team will participate in the International Cricket Council’s T20 World Cup held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17 to November 14, 2021. The tournament was originally planned to take place in 2020, with another one in 2021. However, both of them were postponed for 2021 and 2022, respectively, because of the global COVID-19 epidemic.
