Asia Gaming Brief to Host Its Seventh ASEAN Gaming Summit
Asia Gaming Brief expects to once again welcome hundreds of participants from all over the world and discuss the opportunities and positive regulatory shifts in the ASEAN region

Asia Gaming Brief has unveiled the next edition of its annual ASEAN Gaming Summit gaming conference. Set to take place in March, the event will welcome many industry stakeholders who will discuss the future of the sector.
The Seventh Edition of the Conference Looms
According to Asia Gaming Brief, the new edition of its ASEAN Gaming Summit has been scheduled for March 17-19, 2025. The gaming specialist added that the convention will take place at the Shangri-La the Fort in Manila, Philippines.
ASEAN Gaming Summit will once again provide industry stakeholders with the opportunity to participate in a three-day gathering and discuss the future of gaming in Asia and beyond. Last year’s edition attracted some 1,600 participants from Asia and beyond. According to Asia Gaming Brief, its most recent event was attended by industry representatives from the Philippines, Armenia, Australia, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Cambodia, India, Germany, the UK, Indonesia, Russia, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Singapore, among many others.
This year, Asia Gaming Brief expects to once again welcome hundreds of participants from all over the world and discuss the opportunities and positive regulatory shifts in the ASEAN region. A major topic would be the implementation of new forms of gaming products, both remote and in-person. Panels will explore the emerging patterns in the ASEAN markets and use them to plan the future.
Participants will include representatives of regulatory bodies, lawmakers, gambling company executives, and other stakeholders.
The Asia Gaming Awards Will Return
The upcoming ASEAN Gaming Summit will notably be the seventh edition of the conference. Tickets for the event are already available on Asia Gaming Brief’s official website.
The company announced that the upcoming event will see DST Gaming return as the convention’s main sponsor. Asia Gaming Brief thanked all of its sponsors for their unwavering support and commitment over the years, extending heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported its events.
At the same time, Asia Gaming Brief unveiled the return of the highly anticipated Asia Gaming Awards 2025 Ceremony. The new award ceremony is set to take place on March 18, 2025. It will allow Asia Gaming Brief to honor and celebrate the outstanding achievements of bodies within the sector and promote innovation.
Thailand on the Verge of Legalizing Casinos
Speaking of developments in the ASEAN region, Thailand, once known as a very conservative country when it comes to gambling, is on the verge of legalizing integrated resorts. This has attracted the attention of many industry-leading gaming companies, including the likes of Melco, MGM, Wynn, LVS, Galaxy Entertainment, and Genting Malaysia.
Thailand is furthermore optimistic about beating Japan to it and launching its first resort before the construction of the Osaka IR has been finalized.
In other news, China joined forces with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to fight gambling-related crime and scams across Asia.
