Santos FC and Dafabet Join Forces to Bolster Marketing Footprint

Leading sports betting firm Dafabet has signed a new awareness partnership with Brazil’s flagship soccer team Santos FC.

Dafabet continues to seek new strategic partnerships that help the brand boost awareness with sports fans, and the latest tie-up with а Brazilian soccer club, Santos FC, is a continuation of this commitment to building a recognizable name in the Latin American sports betting market. 

Focusing efforts in the region, Dafabet will sponsor the Brasileiro Série A team through December 31, 2021, with the option of renewing the partnership. 

Commenting on the move, Dafatabet Brazil and LatAm head of marketing Kasper Trier said that the betting firm is already recognized as one of the most influential companies in the industry worldwide, but a partnership with Brazil’s renowned soccer franchise is another step to consolidate that reputation. 

“We will work hard to build a good relationship with the passionate Santos fans, giving them the best odds, offers, and promotions. We will look forward to sharing many great moments at the most famous Vila in the world,” added Trier in detailing the company’s strategy. 

Santos FC president Andres Rueda argued that the club was proud to be sealing this partnership with a company that had shown serious commitment to soccer in general. The club had made another successful “bet,” Rueda explained as he remained convinced that the partnership would generate good results. Santos has worked with diverse partners over the past months, including game maker and publisher Epic Games to sponsor the team’s CONMEBOL Libertadores game.

Santos’ Worldwide Reputation Precedes the Team

Dafabet, head of sponsorships John Cruces, added that the betting firm was excited to be teaming up with the most famous team in the country and once again drew attention to Santos’ global reach and appeal to fan bases worldwide. “We believe the partnership will help us grow in the LATAM region, and we look forward to working together,” he noted. 

Dafabet has been able to secure high-profile partnerships with numerous soccer clubs around the world, and not least LaLiga’s Cádiz FC. The company has worked in and outside of soccer competitions, adding the Warwickshire Country Cricket, Durham, and Sussex teams. Santos FC struck a partnership with Japanese video game developer and publisher Konami late last year. 

Dafabet is also the title sponsor of the 2021 World Pool Masters taking place between May 22 and May 25.
