Playtech Receives GamCare’s B2B Safer Gambling Standard Award

Gambling technology company Playtech announced today it became the first to be awarded the new B2B safer gambling standard award of GamCare.

First Recipient of the Recognition

Playtech received recognition from the UK’s leading provider of information, advice, and support for problem gamblers for its casino product and platform operations in its home market, the UK.

An independent quality standard recently developed by GamCare, the Safer Gambling Standard is a recognized business that puts customer protection at the forefront of their operations receive for their efforts to protect customers from experiencing problem gambling.

Company-Wide Approach to Safer Gambling

GamCare performed an in-depth review of the tech company, from its company-wide culture towards safer gambling and support on executive level for safer gambling, to how the approach to safer gambling is reflected in the process of product design and development by Playtech’s product teams.

Playtech’s new Sustainable Success business strategy, as well as its external Stakeholder Advisory Board, were the two initiatives that were outlined as examples of good practice to safer gambling and weighed in favor of GamCare’s decision to make the company the first-ever recipient of the new B2B safer gambling standard award.
