Currently, the New Jersey Lottery offers a range of draw, scratch-off and second-chance games. One lucky player who tapped into the Lottery’s Jersey Cash 5 EXTRA game recently secured a staggering jackpot of nearly $300,000.

The popular draw game allows the players to select five numbers between 1 and 45. With drawings held every night, lottery players who want to participate in the same night drawing must purchase their ticket prior to 10:53 PM.

In one of the recent drawings of Jersey Cash 5 EXTRA, an incredibly lucky player who purchased their ticket from Gloucester County, guessed correctly all winning numbers. The person won the June 23 drawing by picking 18, 27, 28, 29, 43 along with the XTRA number 2. This brought them the draw game’s jackpot which was $294,065.

The overall odds of winning a prize from Jersey 5 Cash is 1 in 25.71. However, to win the grand prize from the draw game, the lucky winner had to beat the odds of 1 in 1,221,759.

The Retail Lottery Outlet That Sold the Ticket Will Receive a Bonus

Once a player scoops up the grand prize, the jackpot level restarts to $150,000. Considering that several drawings have been held since the jackpot win, it is now estimated at approximately $279,000 for the drawing scheduled on Thursday, June 27, 2024.

According to the New Jersey Lottery, the ticket that won the recent jackpot was purchased at Casa Rocie’s at 135 E High St. in Glassboro, Gloucester County. As with other lotteries, the retailer will benefit from a bonus for selling the ticket that won the jackpot. In this case, the venue will receive $2,000 as a bonus.

Elsewhere in New Jersey, Pro League Network (PLN), the leading provider of live sports content, announced it secured authorization for betting on the CarJitsu Championship in the state.

The milestone approval enables the expansion of CarJitsu betting, enabling the sport to reach new bettors and fans.

The authorization came from the state’s gambling regulator, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
