Lucky Player Wins $336K Jackpot from Arizona Lottery Fast Play Game

This was the first progressive jackpot win from the Lottery's Lightning Fast Cash Double Bonus game since December

Winning from the lottery always brings excitement. In cases with jackpots, few are the lucky ones who can share the incredible feeling. This is precisely the case of one player from Phoenix, Arizona, who recently won more than $300,000 from one of the Arizona Lottery’s fast play games.

The win came from the lottery’s Lightning Fast Cash Double Bonus fast play game. The lucky winner, whose name was not disclosed, purchased their winning ticket from Quick Stop at 2344 W. Thomas Road in Phoenix.

The lucky player hit the game’s progressive jackpot, taking home a staggering $335,939. The latest progressive jackpot win marked the third grand prize from the game that launched early in May 2023.

With three jackpots down, there are two more that are yet to be claimed. In light of the recent win, the jackpot was reset to $40,000. According to the Arizona Lottery, the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 240,000.

On the other hand, the odds of winning $10, which is the lowest prize and the cost per play for the ticket, are 1 in 7.69. The overall odds of the Arizona Lottery’s Lightning Fast Cash Double Bonus ticket are 1 in 3.10.

Besides the grand prize, the Lightning Fast Cash Double Bonus ticket offers a total of 200 prizes of $1,000 each. Out of that total, 81 are remaining while the odds of winning $1,000 are 1 in 6,000.

Lower-tier prizes include $100 and $50 that have odds of 1 in 461.54 and 55.56 respectively. While there are 1,056 prizes of $100 remaining, the $50 prizes that are outstanding are more than 8,700.

Winners from the Lightning Fast Cash Double Bonus game have 180 days from the date of purchase to claim their prize. In case that period is passed, prizes cannot be redeemed even in cases where there is a winning ticket.

The Arizona Lottery reiterated that to participate in the game, players must be 21 years or older, adding that attempts for tampering with lottery tickets are subject to criminal prosecution. Under the state’s laws, tampering with lottery tickets is recognized as a class 3 felony.

In addition to the $300,000 win, the Arizona Lottery revealed that one Powerball player recently scored a hefty win. The lucky player won $50,000 from the game’s drawing on Saturday after guessing four winning numbers together with the red Powerball number.
