Leicester City Love Being Back in the Prem

They cruised through the Championship on their way back to the Premier League. The Foxes were led by Enzo Maresca last year, who’s now in charge of Chelsea, while their new manager is Steve Cooper.

The Welshman was the coach of Nottingham Forest for nearly three years, leading this team to the Premier League from the Championship, where they were at the bottom of the table when he took over in 2021. He transformed Nottingham into an attacking-minded team and Leicester City’s owners expect him to do the same with the Foxes.

He probably won’t have too many difficulties to pull it off given that Leicester’s 2024-25 roster is packed with amazing attackers. Club legend Jamie Vardy is still there and so are players like Patson Daka, Hamza Choudhury, and other players who have been with this team for years.

In addition to those, Leicester City has a few new players on the squad. This summer, the Foxes signed Issahaku Fatawu, Caleb Okoli, and a few other talented youngsters. Plus, they also brought in Harry Winks who’s best known for his days spent at Tottenham.

Is This Tottenham’s Season (Finally)?

In his first season as the manager of Tottenham, Ange Postecoglou led the Spurs to the 5^th place in the Premier League. In the 2024-25 season, Big Ange wants his boys to do better. It won’t be easy, but if they start the campaign in top gear, who knows what might happen?

The good news for the Spurs fans is that this team looks very strong right now. All of Tottenham’s key men from the previous season are still in the team, with a couple of new additions. Pacey forward Dominic Solanke is their biggest signing of the summer – he joined from Bournemouth for a fee of over $70 million.

Given that Richarlison is injured, it won’t be a surprise if Solanke stars for the Spurs on Monday. But even if he doesn’t, this team still has incredible offense, with Heung-Min Son, Dejan Kulusevski, Timo Werner, and others.

We predict that both Leicester City and Tottenham will play very offensively on Monday, providing a real spectacle for the fans. We think both teams will score some goals, but it’s probably Tottenham that will score more.
