iGB and Sportingtech to Release Their First LatAm Gaming Report

The first iGB LatAm gambling report is expected to uncover important insights and highlight details regarding the industry within the region

The Clarion Gaming-owned gambling news outlet, iGaming Business (iGB), announced a strategic collaboration with the award-winning iGaming platform that provides innovative gaming solutions for operators across the globe, Sportingtech. The new partnership, announced Wednesday, sees the duo join forces for the release of the first iGB LatAm gambling report.

The comprehensive report is expected to provide invaluable insights into the gambling market across Latin America. The report is expected to offer free information for some of the most important developments in the region, including changes to regulations, updates in policies and insights into different regulated gambling markets.

Thanks to the iGB LatAm report, consumers, operators and companies will be able to take a deep dive into the LatAm market. Released in collaboration between Sportingtech and iGB, the report will highlight some of the most important updates for jurisdictions such as Colombia, Mexico and Argentina.

Moreover, the report will focus on developments in Chile, Peru and Brazil, among other important markets. Although the report will be the first of its kind, iGB confirmed that it certainly won’t be the last. The release of the report is expected Thursday, April 25, 2025.

While the first release of the report will highlight key developments and important insights into major markets across Latin America, iGB said that it plans to expand the territories included in future editions of the report. While territories such as Paraguay and Uruguay are not covered by the upcoming report, future releases of the report may include them, along with other emerging regional markets.

The New Report Is Expected amid Major Developments in Brazil

The announcement comes at a time when Brazil is in the process of establishing its gambling regulations. The country recently achieved a major milestone in the regulation of gambling after passing Bill PL3626/23, a proposal that paved the way for legal iGaming and sports betting.

This month, Brazil also uncovered details regarding its plans to establish its gambling regulations by using a phased approach. Targeting completion by this summer, the country anticipates that the gambling regulatory framework should be ready by the end of July. If everything goes as planned, customers in Brazil may be able to place their first sports bets or gamble online at some point in the second half of this year.
