GNOG Gains West Virginia Market Access via America’s Resort

Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) announced today it secured an entry into a 5th state, after signing a definitive agreement for market access in West Virginia with the Greenbrier Hotel Corporation.

Mobile Sports Betting and iGaming Partner

The terms of the partnership deal between the online gaming operator spun out of Golden Nugget and the resort grants GNOG the right to offer mobile sports betting and online casino wagering in the state under the Greenbrier’s licenses, subject to obtaining the approvals from state regulators by the gaming company.

Last week, GNOG signed a definitive agreement to secure market access in Illinois, and now the online gaming company is entering the 4th state after firmly establishing in New Jersey, adding West Virginia to Illinois, Michigan and Pennsylvania. In exchange for the right to offer mobile betting and iGaming, GNOG will pay the Greenbrier a percentage of the net gaming revenue over the term of the deal, subject to minimum royalty payments.

GNOG Joins FanDuel and BetMGM

Located in the Allegheny Mountains in Greenbrier County, and spread across 11,000 acres of land, the luxury resort which has been greeting visitors since 1778 features 710 guest rooms, 20 restaurants and lounges, indoor and outdoor activities and sports, as well as retail shops.

The gaming floor at the Greenbrier Casino Club comprises of 37 table games, including blackjack, roulette, poker and craps, as well as 320 slot machines. It is also home to a FanDuel Sportsbook, and beside the FanDuel mobile app, the America’s Resort has an agreement in place with BetMGM for its sports betting and online gaming app.

State regulations allow licensees to enter into partnership deals with up to 3 online sports books and 3 iGaming operators, and the definitive agreement with GNOG filled the sports betting quota, with FanDuel and BetMGM, and became the Greenbrier’s second for online casino after BetMGM.
