ESPN and ESPN BET Debut Account Linking
Thanks to that, users will now be able to seamlessly track upcoming, live and settled bets within the ESPN app, as well as on ESPN.com
PENN Entertainment and ESPN announced that account linking between ESPN and ESPN BET is now a reality. This means that fans can now enjoy seamless betting experiences with less hassle.
Enhanced Personalization Awaits
The account linking allows existing consumers to link their ESPN BET and ESPN accounts. Thanks to that, users will now be able to seamlessly track upcoming, live and settled bets within the ESPN app, as well as on ESPN.com.
This significant addition aligns with ESPN and PENN Entertainment’s overall ambition to improve the customer experience and engage customers. Thanks to account linking, players will unlock a whole new world of personalization. Since the ESPN BET app will be able to get a deeper insight into players’ preferred sports, teams, players and fantasy rosters, it will bring them more personalized bets and promotions.
Account linking, the official announcement explained, can be accessed via a prompt within the ESPN BET app or by visiting settings within the latest versions of the ESPN BET or ESPN apps or ESPN.com.
That’s not all, however, as ESPN BET plans to deliver even deeper integrations that will allow it to remain ahead of the curve and set itself apart from the competition.
No Other Betting Company Offers Such Level of Personalization
Representatives commented on the matter, lauding the new feature. According to Aaron LaBerge, PENN Entertainment’s chief technology officer, the new feature is an important step toward his team’s goal of creating a “fully interconnected media and betting ecosystem between ESPN and ESPN BET.”
He added:
Account linking allows us to better serve and engage our users by unlocking key personalization and promotional capabilities. This feature is just the beginning of deeper integrations that will further differentiate the ESPN BET experience.

In the meantime, Mike Morrison, ESPN BET and ESPN Fantasy’s vice president, added that the account linking reflects the integrated betting experience that his team had envisioned from the very start. He noted that no other operator compares in terms of interconnectedness and personalization.
No other company in the betting space can offer the level of personalization or interconnected experience that ESPN BET provides.

In September, ESPN BET secured approval to launch sports betting in the state of New York.
