Evoke Adds Siddharth Dixit as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer

Evoke (formerly 888 Holdings), a leading betting and gaming group, has unveiled a new leadership appointment, confirming Siddharth Dixit as its new chief strategy and transformation officer. In this position, the new appointee will be tasked with leveraging his robust experience to deliver further developments within the company.

Evoke Reinforces Its C-Suite

Evoke, which is the name behind famous gaming brands, such as William Hill, 888, and Mr. Green, announced Siddharth Dixit as the latest appointment to its C-suite. In addition to his new position as chief strategy and transformation officer, Dixit will also become a member of the group’s executive committee.

In his new role, Dixit will be responsible for the company’s corporate strategy, M&A initiatives, and business development. He will report directly to evoke’s chief executive officer, Per Widerström.

Evoke described its new chief strategy and transformation officer as a corporate veteran with 15 years of experience in strategy, business development and transformation. Prior to joining evoke, he served Virgin Media, where he was likewise responsible for executing the company’s growth strategy. His earlier experiences include senior roles at a number of well-known international organizations, such as Deliveroo, Anheuser-Busch, The Economist, Boston Consulting Group, Accenture and Deloitte.

Per Widerström, evoke’s CEO, was pleased to welcome Dixit as the latest member of the company’s leadership. Widerström lauded Dixit as a “proven leader with a wealth of highly relevant experience” who knows what is best for a company.

Speaking of profitability, evoke’s strategy shift continued to pay off in H1, resulting in higher profit and growth for the company. The company’s adjusted EBITDA for the period increased by a staggering 44%, proving the effectiveness of the Value Creation Plan.
