888 Holdings Establishes New ESG Committee of the Board
888 Holdings, a leading online sports betting and iGaming group announced today a new initiative on Board level – the establishment of a new Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Committee of the Board with immediate effect.
Commitment to Safer Gambling, Climate Change, Diversity and Inclusion
The new ESG Committee will be chaired by the group’s non-executive Chairman Jon Mendelson, who shared his views regarding the new initiative as part of 888’s commitment to the industry and global issues.

In the announcement made to the London Stock Exchange (LSE), 888 revealed the ESG Committee’s task would be to provide Board-level oversight related to the group’s environment, social and governance strategy, targets and progress measured against key performance indicators.

New Task Assigned to Anne de Kerckhove
Among members of the ESG Committee will be Senior Independent Director Anne de Kerckhove and non-executive Director Mark Summerfield.
888 assigned the role of senior independent director to Anne de Kerckhove who has been serving as a non-executive director and chair of the nominations committee since November 2017, to take advantage of her vast industry experience of over 15 years with some of the fastest-growing companies.
The marketing, technology, and entertainment industry veteran is currently serving as acting chief executive officer at cloud-based marketing, sales, and customer services tool Freespee, and London-based technology specialist and digital space investment company Iron Group.
In addition, Anne de Kerckhove is sitting on the boards of 7digital, WeMoms, and Snowite and is an angel investor and mentor for early-stage startups and entrepreneurial funds such as Metail, CRE, and Daphni.
