Aristocrat Boosts Capital Structure with $1.85B Debt Refinancing
Aristocrat has refinanced $1.85 billion in debt, including a new term loan and expanded credit facility. CFO: “We are focused on delivering long-term shareholder value”
The international, worldwide gaming content and technology company that also publishes mobile games, Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL), has announced it has effectively refinanced its debt facilities with a total of $1.85 billion.
The move, which follows the recent addition of Bao Zhu Zhao Fu Firecracker Express via top-tier King Max cabinets to the company’s portfolio, is expected to significantly strengthen the company’s balance sheet while at the same time enhancing its capital management flexibility.
Support for $1.85 Billion Debt Facilities
The debt facilities were supported by both existing and new lenders, and they consisted of a $850 million Term Loan A, which will mature in April 2031, as well as a $1 billion Revolving Credit Facility, maturing in April 2030.
The gaming giant explained that the terms and undertakings of the refinancing showcase their investment-grade credit profile.
They further argued that the increase in the revolving credit facility will truly improve their flexibility to manage their capital structure while continuing to invest in their development.
Chief financial officer Sally Denby explained their current focus is on “delivering long-term shareholder value.”
Denby went on to say that the successful refinancing process is a direct reflection of the strength of their investment-grade credit profile, while at the same time improving their ability to manage their capital structure and invest in growth in the long run.
