Stake Players Now Able to Verify Authenticity of Games
The globe-trotting online casino has introduced a new tech, further empowering players to verify the authenticity of games
Stake is upping its game by offering players a new built-in verification system that will check if the games played by players are authentic.
The fittingly called Stake’s Provably Fair (PF) technology is designed to ensure that the outcomes of different games are indeed legitimate. While the platform does this itself, players will now also have this opportunity.
Stake Ups Ante on Transparency with New Tech
The technology has been introduced to 1,200 slots across Stake.us and Stake.com, with the company’s co-founder, Eddie Craven, highlighting the news on his social media handle.
Craven said that the results of the games that currently use this technology will be publicly open for scrutiny, further burnishing the platform’s credentials for fairness and transparency.
Instead of relying on the Random Number Generator (RNG) tech in the games, players may now verify the outcomes of real money games first-hand.
“Every possible result, the exact probability of each outcome, and the full mechanism behind how results are selected,” the technology specifies.
The outcomes are generated and published in advance, Craven noted, highlighting the fact that Stake presents the information in real-time and leaves no room for doubt as to its authenticity.
“Players should never have to wonder if a game is fair or how the result distribution works. They should be able to access and prove it,” Craven said, adding that the RNG model was a black box that was not on par with the PF technology now leveraged by Stake.
