Fanatics Introduces Combos to Its Prediction Markets Offerings

Fanatics Markets has introduced Combos – a new way for users to trade on its prediction markets platform – enabling customers to bundle multiple individual predictions into one contract.
Fanatics Markets Announces the New Combos Feature
According to Fanatics Markets, the feature is already live across baseball, boxing, football, hockey, MMA, basketball, soccer, and tennis, with additional sports expected to be added in the future. allows bettors to combine different types of outcomes, including player props, moneylines, point spreads, and game totals. These combinations can span multiple sports or include several games within a single sport.
The product operates similarly to a parlay or accumulator offered by a traditional sportsbook. Users construct a contract made up of multiple individual legs, and it only pays out if every chosen outcome is correct. As more legs are added, the probability of success decreases. This typically results in a lower entry cost but a higher potential payout.
The launch coincides with the growing interest in prediction markets from both retail and institutional participants. Unlike traditional sportsbooks, a prediction market functions as an exchange where users trade shares linked to the outcomes of events. Prices fluctuate based on market sentiment and implied probabilities, creating a trading environment that more closely resembles financial markets than traditional fixed-odds betting.
Combos Are a Big Addition to Fanatics Markets
Fanatics launched Fanatics Markets in December last year following its acquisition of independent brokerage firm Paragon Global Markets in July of the same year. The platform was described as the first prediction market at the intersection of sports, finance, and culture.
At the time of the announcement, Matt King, CEO of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, stated that for years, Fanatics had provided fans with new ways to engage with their passion, offering merchandise, collectibles, tickets, events, and more. He emphasized that with Fanatics Markets, the company was now giving fans a safe and intuitive platform to interact with the moments that shape sports and culture, allowing them to choose a side.
Fanatics Markets stated that all trades on the platform are processed through Crypto.com’s federally regulated prediction market infrastructure. Users will have access to deposit limits, session limits, a timeout feature, voluntary self-exclusion, and the ability to close their accounts.
These features highlight a broader industry trend of combining product expansion with enhanced consumer protection measures. Kalshi is another prediction markets provider that has also been taking user protection more seriously. The company recently introduced new measures to prevent minors from using its platform by requiring various age verification steps and a specialized parent portal.
