ESPN BET Launches First Retail Sportsbook at Hollywood Casino

The Hollywood Casino at Greektown has unveiled its ESPN BET-branded sportsbook and restaurant. This is notably ESPN BET’s first-ever branded retail location.

Located on the upper floor of the 100,000-square-foot Downtown Detroit casino, the new sportsbook is the latest addition to PENN Entertainment’s portfolio. The ESPN BET sportsbook and restaurant offers some 4,500 square feet of betting and dining space, allowing guests to enjoy premium wagering experiences.

Visitors can follow the latest developments in sports on a 30’ video wall and place bets on one of the high-tech wagering kiosks available at the property. In the meantime, fans can also sit at the bar or dine at the restaurant while still following their favorite sporting events.

The addition of the ESPN BET restaurant expands the range of premium dining options at Hollywood Casino at Greektown, boosting the overall customer experience.

Since the NFL Draft will take place less than a mile from Hollywood Casino, the property plans to host a variety of ESPN programming this week. This includes the First Draft podcast with Field Yates, Domonique Foxworth, Mina Kimes, and Matt Miller and the Unsportsmanlike morning show with Evan Cohen, Chris Canty, and Michelle Smallmon, and the Greeny Show.

In addition, ESPN BET Live, the daily sports betting show on ESPN2, will be live from the ESPN BET sportsbook on Thursday and Friday. According to the announcement, ESPN talent will also conduct live SportsCenter hits from the property.
