BetMGM Enters the Online Casino Market in West Virginia

The market-leading sports betting and gaming platform BetMGM announced the launch of BetMGM Casino in West Virginia yesterday. The company, which is a joint venture by MGM Resorts and GVC Holdings, will be delivering a wide range of casino online games for the players in the Mountain State. The online casino operates in conjunction with The Greenbrier, a luxury resort that represents the world-class hospitality of West Virginia.

The launch brings some 30 casino titles that vary from Blackjack, Roulette, slots, and table games. Furthermore, BetMGM casino will launch the exclusive West Virginia progressive jackpot-linked games which give a chance for big payouts with every spin. This new casino product will be featured in a dedicated tab within the BetMGM Sports West Virginia mobile application.

BetMGM’s application is available for download on both iOS and Android, but the casino will be accessible via desktop as well. In addition, BetMGM Casino features “an extensive game line-up” which includes the famous jackpot slot title “MGM Grand Millions”. Earlier This Month BetMGM Signed Multiple Key Partnerships

And here is what BetMGM CEO, Adam Greenblatt said about the recent launch: “The addition of the leading igaming offering in West Virginia is a powerful differentiator for BetMGM.” He continued by saying: “With the largest slate of casino games in the state, we’re confident that our superior offering will quickly become the online gaming destination of choice for players.”

The sports betting market in West Virginia has seen significant growth over the last month. Another major player – DraftKings also entered the iGaming market of the Mountain State earlier this month. Furthermore, DraftKings also outlined strong Q2 revenue and vowed for further expansion on the U.S. sports betting market.

The current entry of BetMGM in West Virginia makes the operator the second one to offer sports betting in the state. But earlier this month, the company signed multiple key partnerships.

Looking at the beginning of August, PGA TOUR and BetMGM entered into a multi-year partnership. Under the partnership, BetMGM became an Official Betting Operator of the PGA TOUR. A week after that, the company signed another key partnership with NASCAR. Under the partnership between BetMGM and NASCAR, BetMGM became an Authorized Gaming Operator of NASCAR.

More recently, earlier this week, BetMGM partnered up with the Vegas Stats and Information Network (VSiN). The multi-year partnership facilitates the launch of the sports betting show Betting Across America.
