AGCO Clears Amelco for Launch in Ontario, Canada

One of the leading sports betting and platform suppliers has now received an official go-ahead to introduce its products in Ontario, a fastly-evolving iGaming market

Amelco has welcomed this as a major milestone, as the company will be able to deploy its full end-to-end solution and consolidate its presence in the region.

Amelco Secures Prerequisite to Launch in Ontario

The supplier brings a host of services and intuitive solutions, to wit iGaming, player account management, and sportsbook suite, which will now be accessible to partner operators in the province under the Gambling Related Supplier license awarded to the company by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

Amelco has not yet confirmed any partners that it will proceed with in the vibrant market in Ontario, but the company has said that it will announce its first collaborations in the coming weeks. Amelco is definitely in a good position to provide excellent sports betting and iGaming products.

The company’s iGaming suite, for example, features games by Evolution, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Pragmatic Play, and Pariplay, among others. The achievement was welcomed by Amelco head of USA, Brandon Walker, who said that the Ontario launch is a seminal happening in the company’s history, adding:

This represents a significant milestone for us, and we are thrilled to be finally entering Ontario, where we are confident that both our sportsbook and iGaming products will prove to be very popular.

Company with Big Plans in North America

He spoke highly of the market potential, and its focus on both iGaming and sports betting. Amelco, said Walker, is confident that it can perform strongly in both, and can’t wait to go live. He also teased about the company’s big plans in the province over the next 12 months which will be revealed in due time.

In the meantime, Amelco has been expanding its footprint in North America, specifically in the United States. The company set up a partnership with Simplebet to help the operator provide better sports wagering products in the country.

Earlier this year, Amelco received its sports supplier license to provide local operators with the necessary infrastructure to start accepting wagers in Ohio.
