Red Knot Names McNamara as Account Director amid Canadian Expansion

Red Knot Communications, a company describing itself as a boutique PR and communications agency serving the sports betting and gaming industry, has expanded its team with a key hire who will support the company’s Canadian operations.

McNamara Joins the Team

The one joining Red Knot is the experienced Andy McNamara, a veteran with a wealth of knowledge in sales and sports media. He will serve the agency as an account director and will lead its business development.

As announced by Red Knot, McNamara will stand at the head of the Toronto office, which is the company’s first HQ in the North American country. From there, the new hire will work to expand the company’s international presence and help it reach more clients.

Red Knot boasts offices in Canada, Dubai, London, Rome and the United States. The agency launched in 2020 and is supported by a knowledgeable team of seasoned media, sports and gaming veterans. The company offers its clients PR support and strategic counsel, helping its partners grow their businesses. Some of the most notable Red Knot partners include Spotlight Sports Group, SimWin Sports, Odds On Compliance, and Tekkorp Capital.

McNamara Is Excited to Get Started

As mentioned, McNamara has a lot of experience in sports media, having previously worked for companies like Ultimate Franchise Fantasy Sports and Sportsnet. During his career, McNamara oversaw partnership deals with many sports betting and fantasy sports companies.

In addition, McNamara has his own podcast called The Sick Podcast with Andy McNamara. He also shares a role as a content manager with Knup Solutions and leads a whole team of sports writers, editors and content creators.
