Michigan Lottery Winner Scores $1.72M Lotto 47 Jackpot

A lucky lottery player in Michigan became the fifth jackpot winner for the year from Michigan Lottery’s Lotto 47 game.

Lottery officials confirmed that one person, who purchased a ticket for the game online at MichiganLottery.com, won the game’s jackpot on Wednesday, a hefty $1.72 million. To win the game’s top prize, the fortunate winner had to guess correctly the winning numbers from the latest draw that included, 4, 12, 25, 33, 41 and 47.

The lucky winner is one out of several who recently won hefty prizes from different games offered by the Michigan Lottery. Michigan Lottery officials confirmed that in order to claim their prize, the winner needs to contact its Player Relations Division by calling 844-917-6325.

Contacting the Lottery via the number, the lucky winner will be able to create an appointment to claim their prize. The fortunate lottery player will have a year from the date of the drawing to claim their Lotto 47 prize.

More Lucky Players Secured Lottery Prizes This Week

Lotto 47 grants players a chance to win prizes between $5 and a progressive jackpot that starts at $1 million. The cost per play is $1, while an extra $1 unlocks the game’s Double Play option which grants the player a second chance to win a prize of up to $1.5 million from the Lotto 47’s nightly Double Play drawing.

The odds of winning the jackpot from Lotto 47’s regular drawing are 1 in 10,737,573. The game’s overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 47. To win a prize, players need to match at least three out of six winning numbers.
