Hoosier Lottery Player Wins $588,000 Jackpot
The winner and his wife were in disbelief

The Hoosier Lottery has turned another man’s life around. After playing the lottery’s $5 Lighting Cash Fast Play game, Dave Click, a resident of Peru, Indiana, won the $588,054 jackpot.
Click bought the ticket at Peru Pantry, a shop located at 286 W. Main Street in Miami County. At first, he couldn’t believe his luck when he saw 22 lightning bolts. When he confirmed that he was indeed the winner, Click immediately called his wife.
According to the Hoosier Lottery, Click’s wife was half asleep when he called it. At first, she thought that her husband was trying to pull a prank. Click had to underscore that he was indeed a lottery winner to make his wife take his claim seriously.
$5 Lightning Cash Fast Play is a game provided by the Hoosier Lottery that provides customers with chances to win instant prizes. The Fast Play nature of the game ensures progressive jackpots that continue to grow with every sold ticket.
The prize won by Click initially stood at $15,000 before swelling to $588,054.
In addition to $5 Lightning Cash Fast Play, the Hoosier Lottery offers other Fast Play games for customers to choose from. Players in Indiana can also try out $20 Blazing Hot 7s and $10 Extreme Green.
Other Recent Jackpot Winners
In the meantime, Neil Cochran, a lucky man from Albuquerque, New Mexico, just won the grand prize from the Lotto America game. The man had decided to not pick randomly generated numbers for a change and picked a combination he used for Lotto America, Powerball and Mega Millions. While only one of his tickets hit the mark, it was still enough to make him a millionaire.
Cochran, who correctly guessed the combination consisting of 8, 11, 23, 47, 48 and Star Ball number 4, earned him the grand prize of $3.52 million.
Last month, a lucky player from California won the $1.76 billion jackpot from the Powerball game. This made him the second-biggest Powerball winner in the game’s history. However, his triumph caused a wave of skepticism among players who questioned the legitimacy of the Powerball wins.
Meanwhile, a player who falsely claimed to be a Powerball winner faces misdemeanor charges.
