EquiLottery Inks Agreement with NBA to Launch Lottery Game
EquiLottery and the NBA inked a licensing agreement. The agreement will see EquiLottery create and launch a new lottery game based on the outcome of the current NBA league season. The new game will be called Slam Dunk Dollar$ and will run through the new 2020-2021 season.
NBA and EquiLottery Ink a Licensing Agreement
The leading live sports lottery game developer EquiLottery has announced that it inked an agreement with the National Basketball Association (NBA). Under the agreement, EquiLottery will be able to launch a new, officially-licensed lottery draw game based on the outcome of the current NBA league season. The operator will create the new lottery game, Slam Dunk Dollar$ which will feature marks and logos of the NBA and its teams. Slam Dunk Dollar$ is planned to run throughout the upcoming 2020-2021 NBA season. Furthermore, the new lottery game will also complement other team sport games that EquiLottery Games is offering.
The new lottery game Slam Dunk Dollar$ will based on the patented game platform developed by EquiLottery Games. Similar to other team sport games, the new lottery game will be in the same format. To play the new game, players will need to purchase a quick-pick ticket that has 10 pre-selected NBA games. Winning tickets have a match from 7 out of 10 to 10 out of 10 winning teams. This makes four prize tiers with overall odds of 6 to 1. EquiLottery revealed that the system powering these games was completed earlier this year. This means that lotteries are now going to be able to implement the NBA-licensed game.
EquiLottery Games is excited to announce its new partnership with the @NBA. With the NBA joining other top sports leagues like @MLB & @NASCAR, lotteries can offer sports excitement to their players all year through our suite of draw games. https://t.co/N1UgP0LGLV

Under the newly inked agreement, the NBA will provide lotteries with more games based on live sporting events. In a statement, NBA’s Senior Vice President of Fantasy & Gaming, Scott Kaufman-Ross said: “The EquiLottery Games product is an innovative new offering in the lottery space and offers our fans yet another way to engage with NBA games“. Furthermore, he stressed that the NBA is excited to bring the new product to a gaming category that grows in popularity.
Brad Cummings, EquiLottery Founder, and CEO said that the company is “proud to welcome the NBA into the EquiLottery Games family of live lottery sports games“. He outlined that in combination with the other EquiLottery partners, the NBA partnership will enable year-round games to U.S. lotteries based on popular team sports.
As a pioneer of live sports lottery games in the U.S., EquiLottery has already inked similar partnership with Major League Baseball to launch a game called Baseball Bucks. Furthermore, a key agreement was signed by EquiLottery with NASCAR under which a draw game called NASCAR Racing Riches will be launched.
