DAZN Bet, a sports betting subsidiary of the global sports media giant DAZN, is seeking to bolster its safer gambling efforts with a new head of safer gambling. The wagering operator announced that it searching for talents amid increased safer gambling pressures.

DAZN Bet Is Looking for Someone to Lead Its Safer Gambling Team

In a LinkedIn post, DAZN announced that it is looking for a head of safer gambling, detailing what the responsibilities related to the role would be. According to the sports specialist, the new head of safer gambling would report directly to DAZN Bet’s director of customer operations.

Moreover, as the role name suggests, such a head will be responsible for managing the operator’s safer gambling policy and preventing harm among its customers. To that end, the person in the role will have to make sure DAZN Bet is able to successfully identify at-risk gamblers and provide them with the help and tools they need.

The head of safer gambling will have to manage the company’s overall safety procedures, as well as set KPIs around customer protection. They will also need to support the operational compliance function across the business and will be responsible for ensuring smooth cross-company communication.

The Company’s Perfect Candidate Is Someone with Substantial Experience

DAZN’s perfect candidate, the company explained, is someone who has existing experience in safer gambling, preferably with a Tier 1 operator. They also need to have a strong understanding of responsible gambling processes and procedures.

Furthermore, DAZN would like a candidate who is knowledgeable in the AML, licensing and compliance fields. In addition, it is best if the applicant has previously dealt with regulatory authorities and knows what to do.

Other qualities that DAZN wants to see in its desired candidate include policy application experience, leadership experience and excellent communication and negotiation skills, among others.
