Canada vs. Chile 2024 Copa America Odds, Time, and Prediction
Canada vs. Chile is the game that will decide which of these two teams will advance to the next stage of the 2024 Copa America.

Canada Is a Point Away from the Copa America Quarterfinals
If they don’t lose to Chile on Saturday, Canucks will advance to the next phase of the 2024 Copa America. But that’s easier said than done given that Chile has a very good roster.
The same, however, goes for Canada. The guys in red are great in all aspects of the game, with their offense being their strongest weapon. Jonathan David is the man who’s scored Canada’s only Copa America goal so far.
His colleague from the attacking department, Cyle Larin, hasn’t been too impressive, but there’s no doubt this guy is an elite striker. The same goes for Canada’s captain Alphonso Davies, who’s been covering the entire right side of the field.
Chile Needs to Go All-In on Saturday
The only way Chile can get to the next stage of the Copa America is to beat Canada on June 29. But in order to win, they need to score, which is something they’ve been struggling with. They played 0:0 with Peru in the first round, then lost to Argentina 1:0 in the second.
In the game against Argentina, they created only three goal attempts, with none of those being directed at the net. They did slightly better against Peru, making two shots toward the net, as well as an additional eight chances that weren’t too dangerous.
On the bright side, Chile does have some really good forwards on the roster. However, most of them are approaching the end of their careers. The best examples are 35-year-old Alexis Sanchez and 34-year-old Eduardo Vargas.
Canada vs. Chile 2024 Copa America Prediction
Canada just needs one point to get to the next phase, so these guys do not need to charge toward Chile’s goal at all costs. Instead, they can try and contain the game, keeping the opposition far from their goal. Given that Chile’s attackers haven’t been in great form, Canada definitely looks capable of achieving it.
And even if Chile does find the net, Canada’s forwards like David and Larin look more than capable of fighting back. That’s why our top Canada vs. Chile prediction is the draw.
Pick: Canada vs. Chile – Draw
