Yolo Group Taps Ex-Flutter Specialist as Chief Product Officer
His qualities as a product specialist and team leader are what made him a perfect fit for the Yolo Group team
Yolo Group has enhanced its leadership team with another noteworthy appointment, naming the experienced Ashley-Christian Hardy as its new chief product officer. Boasting years of experience at gaming companies, Hardy will now be responsible for the group’s product growth initiatives.
As mentioned, the new hire boasts years of product experience and is the founder of The Product Hub, a Malta-based product management firm.
In addition, Hardy has years of industry experience and has served a variety of companies, such as the gambling giant Flutter International. As a member of one of the largest gambling companies in the world, Hardy was a part of a family of some 15,000 employees.
Serving as head of product change and portfolio, he was responsible for defining a product change strategy and helping a large product organization “operate at scale, to discover and deliver new products and features in a customer-centric way.”
Prior to his two-year stint with Flutter, Hardy spent almost four years at Gaming Innovation Group (GiG). He joined the company as head of product in 2018 and was eventually promoted to director of product & design.
In the latter role, he was responsible for the full suite of GiG products. Tasked with coaching a product management team with a start-up mentality, Hardy eventually succeeded in nurturing it into a mature team with clear responsibilities.
His qualities as a product specialist and team leader are what made him a perfect fit for the Yolo Group team.
Hardy Is Excited about His New Position
In a LinkedIn post, Ashley-Christian Hardy expressed his excitement about his new appointment, saying that he is happy to share news of his new position. He said that he has learned a lot over the past few years with Flutter and is looking forward to leveraging this expertise to help Yolo Group grow.
After a great 2 years Flutter International, I have been given the opportunity to join Yolo Group as CPO. I have learned a lot over the past two years, I have been exposed to many areas of the Flutter business, growing my knowledge and skills working in an organization at massive scale.
