The ticket was purchased at a Safeway grocery store at 9620 Southwest 28th Avenue in Seattle, the lottery detailed in an official press statement, confirming that the retailer will also get the customary bonus for selling the winning ticket.
In this case, the bonus is set at $6,300. As to the winning numbers, they were revealed as 13, 20, 21, 35, and 40. The $630,000 payout is a really good return on investment, as playing the lottery costs only $1 and players have to pick five numbers from 1 to 42.
Players can buy tickets for up to 25 consecutive drawings, and players may also choose the Quick Pick option that will randomize the numbers selected on the ticket. Once the jackpot is secured, it resets to $100,000, as confirmed by the Washington Lottery.
The Washington Lottery is constantly promoting big wins, and the lottery is also putting a substantial effort into finding players who have won but may be none the wiser, and have not yet claimed their prizes.
