The Associated Press Gains Access to Lottery Results from Jackpot.com
A new agreement sees the lottery courier service supply results from local and national lottery draws to Associated Press customers
The leading online lottery courier service, Jackpot.com, announced it signed a new agreement with the independent global news organization, The Associated Press (AP). Jackpot.com released details regarding the new groundbreaking collaboration on Wednesday.
Under the terms of the new agreement, the company was designated as the official digital lottery courier and provider of lottery results for AP. Thanks to the partnership, Jackpot.com will deliver a range of state lottery results for APNews.com.
The collaboration will see AP clients gain access to a “lottery results feed,” while also granting them the opportunity to purchase lottery tickets through AP’s own websites. The mutually beneficial collaboration bolsters Jackpot.com’s presence while delivering results for hundreds of local and national lotteries to AP customers.
Jackpot.com most recently launched its services to customers in New Jersey. This enabled the company to expand its reach and by now it operates in six states.
Similar to other lottery and gaming operators, Jackpot.com is dedicated to responsible gambling and protecting its consumers. The lottery courier service offers a range of limits, including spending and daily deposit limits. At the same time, Jackpot.com provides access to different responsible gambling resources on a local and national level.
Leveraging innovative solutions, the lottery courier service helps identify problem gambling and offers help or options for self-exclusion. Currently, Jackpot.com is the only lottery courier service that has iCap certification from the National Council on Problem Gambling.
The Partnership Seeks to Transform the Landscape of Lottery Gaming
Barry Bedlan, AP’s global products director for text, data and new markets, shared his excitement about the activation with Jackpot.com. “We look forward to working with Jackpot.com to provide the latest lottery results to our customers as well as the audience on APNews.com,” he explained.
“Working with The Associated Press as their official lottery courier and provider of state lottery results marks a pivotal moment for us at Jackpot.com.“
Akshay Khanna, CEO and co-founder of Jackpot.com
Akshay Khanna, Jackpot.com’s CEO and co-founder, was just as thrilled. He explained that the agreement with AP represents a milestone achievement for the company.
Khanna acknowledged that the new deal would grant AP customers access to lottery drawing results, while at the same time, providing them with options to buy lottery tickets. “Through AP’s extensive reach, we’re not just selling tickets; we’re transforming the landscape of lottery gaming,” said the executive in conclusion.
