Texas Man Wins $2M from Millionaire’s Club Scratcher

A Texas man has officially secured the payout of a lifetime, with the person turning their scratch ticket for Millionaire’s Club into a $2,000,000 payout. 

The win occurred only recently, and the ticket was bought at Joe’s Mini Mart, 800 W. Crawford St. in Deniso, the lottery confirmed.

The win matters, as it is the first confirmed win for Millionaire’s Club, which will offer four $2,000,000 prizes while the game lasts, with a total of $175 million in prizes available for players to win. 

Winning any of those prizes has rather good odds at 1 in 3.54, making it one of the most generous games the lottery runs. The Texas Lottery has been a major tax contributor to the state.

Since it was introduced in Texas in 19992, the lottery has generated a windfall of $42.6 billion to the state, and also dished out more than $97.5 billion in various prizes.
