Stake Makes a Foray into Mexico
- Stake has entered Mexico where it will operate under the stake.mx domain
- The launch comes just in time for the World Cup and, according to the Stake leadership, was a natural next step for the business
- Stake already has a presence in Colombia and Peru, as its LATAM growth journey continues
Stake, one of the leading online gaming and betting operators in the world, has officially entered Mexico as it seeks to capitalize on the North American country’s burgeoning iGaming market. The launch will expand the company’ presence in the broader LATAM region, setting it up for future success.
Stake Enters the Mexican Gaming Market
Stake has confirmed its launch in Mexico, where it will operate under the stake.mx domain name. The company’s cutting-edge betting and gaming products will therefore be available to players in the country, allowing it to tap into one of LATAM’s largest markets.
For context, Stake already has a presence in Colombia and Peru.
Stake’s operation will see it act as an agent under Uno Capali’s license agreement. The launch in Mexico comes just in time for the upcoming 2026 World Cup, which will see Mexico serve as a co-host of the tournament. This, paired with the broader popularity of the Stake brand and the popularity of online gaming in Mexico, sets up the operator for success.
Last year, Mexico’s online gaming market achieved for the first time higher revenue than the Mexican casinos. This was due to a variety of factors, including convenience, an influx of younger players, and various regulatory changes.
A Natural Next Step for Stake
Stake’s leadership was excited about the launch in Mexico, with director Jarrod Febbraio calling Mexico “an important and exciting market” for him and his team. He pointed out that the growth of betting in Mexico has been nothing short on impressive and emphasized that Mexicans have a “deep cultural connection to sport.”
Febbraio added that Stake has been gaining significant momentum in LATAM, making the Mexico launch a “natural next step” for the company.
The timing of this launch reflects our ability to move with precision into high-value markets at the right moment. It gives us the opportunity to establish a strong presence ahead of one of the biggest sporting events in the world and deliver a world-class experience for Mexican players.

In other news, Stake recently introduced its Stake’s Provably Fair (PF) technology – a solution that allows players to ensure that the outcomes of the games it offers are legitimate.
