New Orleans Saints vs. Dallas Cowboys is one of the most exciting Week 2 games. The main reason is that both teams did great in the first week of the 2024 NFL. Let’s see which of them will do great on Sunday, September 15 as well

In Week 1 of the 2024 NFL, the Saints destroyed the Panthers 47-10, putting on arguably the best performance of all the teams that weekend. Now, Dallas is taking on New Orleans in Texas and our prediction is that this is going to be a real spectacle.

New Orleans Saints Wanna Keep the Momentum

The Saints absolutely demolished the Panthers in Week 1. Derek Carr had a game to remember, going 19-for-23 for 200 yards and three passing touchdowns. His teammates did great rushing-wise as well, with Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams scoring a rushing TD each.

The Saints were also brilliant defensively in that game, but that’s not really too big of an achievement given that their opponent was the Bryce Young-led offense of the Panthers. The Saints defense made two interceptions, preventing Carolina’s QB from throwing for a single touchdown. In fact, the only touchdown Carolina scored was a rushing touchdown by the quarterback in the third quarter.

Now, the Saints have a much tougher job on their hands when they travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys in Week 2.

Reasons Why the Cowboys are Favored to Win in Week 2

In Week 1, the Dallas Cowboys played against the Cleveland Browns who were favored to win that game. However, the boys from Texas put on a real masterclass, both offensively and defensively.

Their quarterback Dak Prescott went 19-for-32 for 179 yards and one touchdown. It might not seem too impressive, but he made no mistakes, getting zero of his passes intercepted. The Cowboys also did very well running the ball, with Ezekiel Elliott scoring one rushing TD. Kicker Brandon Aubrey was at the top of his game, going 4-for-4 with field goals and bringing a total of 15 points to his team.

Still, it’s their defensive team that stole the show. They recorded two interceptions, keeping the Browns to just 17 points. That’s really great job given that in 2024, the Browns look lethal offensively.

Saints vs. Cowboys Prediction

The Saints are great offensively, but we think that the Cowboys’ defense is good enough to stop them from doing too much in Week 2. We also predict that the Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is going to be even more productive this time around, which is why our pick is Dallas.

Pick: Dallas Cowboys
