Musumeci’s celebrity status and his amazing BJJ skills have made him a target of the UFC and other promotions. He’s already won four BJJ World Championships, as well as two European Championships, Pan-American Championship, and other competitions.

Osamah Almarwai is arguably the best submission grappler ever to spawn from the Middle East. Born in Saudi Arabia, he’s representing the country of Yemen.

He’s 31 years old, but he hasn’t been involved with submission grappling for too long. In fact, in his youth, he was a taekwondo practitioner. It was during his college days that he started his Brazilian jiu-jitsu story.

It took him almost a decade to polish his BJJ skills. Then, last year, he won his first two major titles – the 2022 World No-Gi Championship and the Pan No-Gi Championship.

He’s already fought a number of elite grapplers, but his biggest challenge comes on his ONE Championship debut this Friday.
