Lucky Florida Lotto Player Wins $4.25M

A man from Florida has won a life-changing $4.25 million jackpot after matching all six lottery numbers. This was the biggest of the prizes scored at this weekend’s drawings.

The winner, according to reports, bought the winning ticket at the Publix shop on 13150 State Road 64 East on Bradenton, a city on the Manatee River, south of Tampa.

As mentioned, the customer managed to successfully match all winning numbers, netting him a $4.25 million prize. For context, the winning numbers for the Saturday Florida Lotto drawing were 2, 11, 15, 16, 18 and 26.

The lottery jackpot has now been reset to $1 million.

The Saturday drawing also awarded prizes to two other lottery players who had also purchased their tickets at Publix shops across the state of Florida.

The Sunday drawings, meanwhile, awarded prizes to five other Florida Lottery players, two of whom had also purchased their tickets at Publix shops.

The man had conveniently planned a vacation already and will use a part of his winnings to cover his travel expenses.

In Virginia, an anonymous player grabbed a whopping $1.3 million jackpot payout after playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em at MGM National Harbor. Alex Alvarado, vice president of casino operations at the casino congratulated the winner, saying that he is glad that a local has struck one of MGM’s many table game jackpots.
